Applications are invited online for recruitment to the post of Animal Husbandry Assistant (1896 posts) in A.P. Animal Husbandry Subordinate Services from eligible candidates within the age group of 18 to 42 years as on 01.07.2023. The Animal Husbandry Assistant post carries the pay scale of Rs.22460 - 72810 in RPS 2022.

Note:- The candidates on selection and appointment will be paid Rs.15,000/- per month as consolidated pay for a period of 2 years. They will be given regular scale of pay after satisfactory completion of 2 years’ probation. The selected candidates on appointment will be deployed to work in the Village Secretariats established in the Grama Panchayats as per G.O.Ms.No.110, Panchayati Raj and Rural Development (MDL-1) department, dated, 19.07.2019.

• Two years Animal Husbandry Polytechnic Course conducted by Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University, Tirupati.
• Intermediate Vocational course in Dairying and Poultry Sciences as one of the subjects of study / two years Poultry Diploma Course conducted by the Polytechnic College Ramachandrapuram of Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University, Tirupati etc., / two years Intermediate Vocational Course in Multi Purpose Veterinary Assistant (MPVA) as per the provisions of GO MS No:34 13-09-2013 of AHDDF (AHII) Dept.

 AP Animal Husbandry Assistants Recruitment 2023AGE:

No person shall be eligible for direct recruitment if he/she is less than 18 years of age and if he / she is more than 42 years of age as on 01.07.2023 as per G.O.Ms.No.109,GA (Ser-A) Dept., dated:10.10.2023. Candidates should not be born earlier than 01.07.1981 and not later than 01.07.2005.

Provided that the persons referred to at S.Nos.3 & 4 above shall after making the deductions referred to in Sub Rule 12 (c)(i) & (ii) of A.P. State and Subordinate Service Rules 1996 not exceed the Maximum age limit prescribed for the post.

Note: 1. Exam paper will be bilingual (English & Telugu).

After Login, the applicant has to click on the “Submit Online Application” in the home page. After successful Submission of Application, print of the submitted application will be available.

CENTRES FOR THE COMPUTER BASED EXAMINATIONS:

The candidate has to choose a district of his/her choice for appearing for the Computer based examination. He/she can accordingly indicate the order of preference of 3 options among which he/she will be allotted to one of the examination centres as per administrative convenience. However best effort will be made to accommodate the candidate in 1st or 2nd choice option. In extreme cases candidate may be allotted a centre in an option other than the preferences made by him/her.

AP Animal Husbandry Assistants Recruitment 2023 PROCEDURE OF SELECTION:

1. Each erstwhile District is the unit of District Selection Committee (DSC) is the selection authority and the District Collector is the appointing authority. The DSC will follow the principle of order of merit and the selection process is carried out with utmost regard to secrecy and confidentiality so as to ensure that the principle of merit is scrupulously followed.
2. The selection of candidates for appointment to the posts shall be based on the merit in the computer-based examination, to be held as per the scheme of examination enunciated at para 10
3. The minimum qualifying marks for consideration of a candidate to the selection process are 40% for OCs, Sports persons and Ex-Servicemen 35% for BCs, and 30% for SCs, STs and PHs. In the event of candidates not securing minimum prescribed marks for selection in the examination and if requirement be so the selection may be done on the basis of ranks secured in the computer-based examination irrespective of marks
4. N.B.: Mere securing of minimum qualifying marks does not confer any right to the candidate for being considered to the selection.
5. Where the candidates get equal number of marks in the computer-based examination if two or more candidates get equal total number of marks, those candidates shall be bracketed. Candidates within the same bracket shall then be ranked 1, 2, 3 , according to age i.e., oldest being considered for admission. In case there is tie in age, the person who possesses minimal educational qualification at earlier date would be considered.
6. The claims of members of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes and Women as the case may be, shall also be considered for the vacancies earmarked for open competition, which shall be filled on the basis of open In respect of social reservations viz., Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes, the vertical reservation will be applicable and the number of appointments reserved for that category shall in no way be affected during the period the reservation for that category is in force.

WEIGHTAGE OF MARKS:

Weightage to educationally qualified Gopalamithras / Gopalamithra supervisors /1962 para vets and outsourced / contractual man power for the post of Animal Husbandry Assistant shall be given at the rate of one and half mark for every completed period of 6 months of satisfactory service rendered in Animal Husbandry Department / SVVU/ APDDCF / 1962 Paravets upto a maximum of 15 marks. The service rendered for less than 6 months shall be treated as NIL.

Service Certificate: Candidates service certificate to be obtained from the District Animal Husbandry Officer/ Head of the Institution/ Unit Officer of SVVU, APDDCF and 1962 Services.

2. The appointment of selected candidates will be subject to their being found medically fit in the appropriate medical classification, and if he/she is of sound health, active habits and free from any bodily defect or
