ENGAGEMENT OF GRAMIN DAK SEVAKS (GDS):

Online applications are invited from the eligible applicants for engagement as Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) (Branch Postmaster(BPM)/Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM)/Dak Sevak). Applications are to be submitted online at www.indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.Details of the vacant posts are given in Annexure-I.

POSTAL JOBS: తపాలా శాఖలో 40,889 గ్రామీణ డాక్ సేవక్ ఖాళీలు భర్తీకి నోటిఫికేషన్ విడుదల.

దేశ వ్యాప్తంగా వివిధ పోస్టల్ సర్కిళ్లలో 40,889 గ్రామీణ డాక్  సేవక్ (జీడీఎస్)  ఖాళీల భర్తీకి  ప్రకటన వెలువడింది. పదో తరగతిలో సాధించిన మార్కులతో ఈ నియామకాలు చేపడతారు. ఎంపికైనవారు బ్రాంచ్ పోస్ట్ మాస్టర్ (బీ పీ ఎం),  అసిస్టెంటా మాస్టర్(ఏబీపీఎం), డాక్ సేవక్ హోదాలతో విధులు నిర్వహించాల్సి ఉంటుంది. పోస్టును బట్టి రూ.పది వేల నుంచి రూ.పన్నెండు అందుకోవచ్చు. ఆసక్తి ఉన్నవారు ఫిబ్రవరి 16 లోగా ఆన్లైన్ దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవాలి.  

ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్లో 2480, తెలంగాణలో 1266 ఖాళీలు ఉన్నాయి. ఈ పోస్టులకు ఎంపికైనవారు రోజుకు నాలుగు గంటలు పనిచేస్తే సరిపోతుంది. వీటితోపాటు ఇండియన్ పోస్టల్ పేమెంట్ బ్యాంకుకు సంబంధించిన సేవలకు గానూ ప్రత్యేకంగా ఇన్సెంటివ్ రూపంలో బీపీఎం / ఏబీపీఎం / డాక్ సేవక్ లకు ప్రోత్సాహం అందిస్తారు. ఆ సేవల విలువ ప్రకారం ఇంటెన్సివ్ ఆధారపడి ఉంటుంది. వీరు రోజువారీ విధులు నిర్వర్తించడానికి ల్యాప్టాప్/ కంప్యూటర్/ స్మార్ట్ ఫోన్ లాంటివి తపాలా శాఖ సమకూరుస్తుంది. సంబంధిత కార్యాలయానికి అందుబాటులో నివాసం ఉండాలి. సైకిల్ తొక్కడం రావాలి.

మొత్తం ఖాళీల సంఖ్య: 40,889.

అర్హత: పదో తరగతి ఉత్తీర్ణత సాధించినవారై ఉండాలి. ఇందులో మ్యాథ్స్, ఇంగ్లిష్, స్థానిక భాష ఉండటం తప్పనిసరి. అంటే ఏపీ, తెలంగాణకు చెందినవారు తెలుగు సబ్జెక్టు పదో తరగతి వరకు చదవడం తప్పనిసరి. కంప్యూటర్ పరిజ్ఞానంతో పాటు సైకిల్ తొక్కటం వచ్చి ఉండాలి.

వయసు: 16-02-2023 నాటికి 18-40 ఏళ్ల మధ్యలో ఉండాలి. ఎస్సీ, ఎస్టీలకు ఐదేళ్లు, ఓబీసీలకు మూడేళ్లు, దివ్యాంగులకు పదేళ్లు గరిష్ఠ వయసులో సడలింపు

జీత భత్యాలు: నెలకు బీపీఎం పోస్టులకు రూ.12,000 - రూ.29,380; ఏబీపీఎం డాక్ సేవక్ పోస్టులకు రూ.10,000 - రూ.24,470 వేతనం ఉంటుంది. ఎంపిక విధానం: అభ్యర్థులు పదో తరగతిలో సాధించిన మార్కుల మెరిట్ ప్రకారం నియామకాలు చేపడతారు. ప్రకటనలో ఖాళీలు ఉన్న బ్రాంచీలు, ఏ హోదాలో ఖాళీ ఉంది, రిజర్వ్/ అన్ రిజర్వ్ వివరాలు పేర్కొన్నారు. వాటిని అభ్యర్థులు పరిశీలించి, తమ ప్రాధాన్యం ప్రకారం ఆప్షన్లు ఇచ్చుకోవాలి. మొదటి ప్రాధాన్యం ఇస్తున్నదానికి ఆప్షన్ 1 తర్వాత దానికి ఆప్షన్ 2... ఇలా నింపాలి. అవకాశాన్ని బట్టి వీటిలో ఏదో ఒకచోట పోస్టింగ్ కేటాయిస్తారు. ఎంపికైనవారికి సమాచారం ఎన్ఎంఎస్/ ఈమెయిల్/ పోస్టు ద్వారా అందుతుంది.

దరఖాస్తు ఫీజు: ఎస్సీ, ఎస్టీ, దివ్యాంగులు, ట్రాన్స్ ఉమెన్లకు ఫీజు చెల్లింపు లేదు.  మిగిలిన అభ్యర్థులు రూ.వంద చెల్లించాలి.

బ్రాంచ్ పోస్టు మాస్టర్(బీపీఎం): ఈ పోస్టుకు ఎంపికైనవారు సంబంధిత బ్రాంచ్ కార్యకలాపాలు పర్యవేక్షించాలి. పోస్టల్ విధులతోపాటు ఇండియా పోస్టు పేమెంట్ బ్యాంకు వ్యవహారాలూ చూసుకోవాలి. రికార్డుల నిర్వహణ, ఆన్లైన్ ట్రాన్సాక్షన్లు, రోజువారీ కార్యకలాపాలు సజావుగా సాగేలా, ఉత్తరాలు పంపిణీ జరిగేలా చూసుకోవాలి. తపాలాకు సంబంధించిన మార్కెటింగ్ వ్యవహారాలూ చక్కబెట్టాలి. బృందనాయకుడిగా సంబంధిత బ్రాంచు నడిపించాలి. పోస్టల్ పథకాలను ప్రజల వద్దకు తీసుకెళ్లాలి. 

అసిస్టెంట్ బ్రాంచ్ పోస్టుమాస్టర్(ఏబీపీఎం): ఈ ఉద్యోగంలో చేరినవాళ్లు స్టాంపులు/ స్టేషనరీ అమ్మకం, ఉత్తరాలు పంపిణీ జరిగేలా చూడటం, ఇండియన్ పోస్టు పేమెంట్ బ్యాంకుకు సంబంధించిన డిపాజిట్లు, పేమెంట్లు, ఇతర లావాదేవీలు చక్కబెట్టాలి. బ్రాంచ్ పోస్టుమాస్టర్ నిర్దేశించిన పనులు పూర్తి చేయాలి. వివిధ పథకాల గురించి ప్రజల్లో అవగాహన కలిగించాలి.

డాక్ సేవక్: ఈ విధుల్లో చేరినవారు ఉత్తరాలు పంపిణీ చేయాలి. అలాగే స్టాంపులు/ స్టేషనరీ అమ్మకాలు చేయాలి. బీపీఎం, ఏబీపీఎం సూచించిన పనులు పూర్తిచేయాలి. రైల్వే మెయిల్ సర్వీస్, పోస్టల్ పేమెంట్ బ్యాంకు విధులు చూసుకోవాలి. పోస్టల్ పథకాలు ప్రచారం చేయాలి.

దరఖాస్తు విధానం: దరఖాస్తును ఆన్లైన్లో సమర్పించాలి.

ముఖ్యమైన తేదీలు:

AGE Limits:

(i). Minimum age:18 years

(ii). Maximum age: 40 years.

(iii). Age will be determined as on the last date of submission of application as per notification.

India Post GDS Recruitment 2023 QUALIFICATION AS ON THE DATE OF NOTIFICATION:

India Post GDS Recruitment 2023 EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

(a) Secondary School Examination pass certificate of 10th standard having passed in Mathematics and English (having been studied as compulsory or elective subjects) conducted by any recognized Board of

School Education by the Government of India/State Governments/Union Territories in India shall be a mandatory educational qualification for all approved categories of GDS.

(b) The applicant should have studied the local language i.e. (Name of Local language at least up to Secondary standard [as compulsory or elective subjects].

(2). OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:-

(i) Knowledge of computer

(ii) Knowledge of cycling

(iii) Adequate means of livelihood

Note-1: The selected candidates will have to submit undertaking to the Engaging Authority in respect of the above prescribed formats (referrer to Annexure I,II & III respectively) at the time of engagement.

Note: 2 (i) No person holding an elective office will be considered for engagement to the post.

(ii) The applicant selected as GDS shall not engage in any activity with any outside agency, which would be detrimental to the business or interest of the Post Office/IPPB.

(iii) Past experience or service of any kind will not be considered for selection.

HOW TO APPLY India Post GDS Recruitment 2023:

Application can be submitted online only at www.indiapostgdsonline.in. Applications received from any other mode shall not be entertained. Brief instructions for registration, payment of fee, documents to be uploaded with application, selection of posts etc. are given in Annexure-V.

India Post GDS Recruitment 2023 SELECTION CRITERIA:

• The applicants will be shortlisted for engagement on the basis of a system generated merit list.
• The Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained/ conversion of Grades/Points to marks (as explained in sub paras- iii to ix below) in Secondary School Examination of 10^th standard of approved
• Boards aggregated to percentage to the accuracy of 4 decimals. Passing of all the subjects as per the respective approved board norms is mandatory.

• For applicants where their Secondary School Examination of 10^th standard mark sheet have marks or marks and Grade/Points both, only their total marks will be worked out by taking into account the marks obtained in all compulsory and elective/optional subjects (other than extra subjects, if any). This will ensure that applicant with higher marks get selected.
• For applicants having only grades subject-wise, marks will be arrived for each subject (compulsory and elective subjects but not extra

applying the multiplying factor of 9.5 in the following manner:-

• In case of the marks lists containing the Grades/ Points, marks will be reckoned by taking conversion of Grades and points with the multiplication factor (9.5) against the maximum points or grade as 100.
• Where Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) is also provided, the marks will be arrived at by multiplying the CGPA by 9.5. Where individual grades in each subject as well as CGPA is given, the higher of the two marks will be taken.

 Applicants having both marks and grades in the marks sheet have to apply with marks only. In case any applicant applies with grades instead of marks, his/her application will be liable for disqualification.

In case of tie amongst applicants, the merit would be decided on the basis of following priority order:-

“DOB (Older in age), ST trans-woman, ST female, SC trans-woman, SC female, OBC trans-woman, OBC female, EWS trans-woman, EWS female, UR trans-woman, UR female, ST trans-male, ST Male, SC trans-male, SC Male, OBC trans-male, OBC male, EWS trans-male, EWS male, UR trans-male, UR male”.

Applications submitted without complete data will be rejected. In case an applicant uploads wrong documents/information and unnecessary documents, his/her candidature will be rejected.

At the time of verification of documents upon shortlisting of an applicant if the data/marks fed in the Portal are found mismatched with original documents, his/her candidature will be rejected even if there is small spelling error in name of applicant, father/mother name etc.

Shortlisted applicants will have to submit an undertaking in the format annexed as Annexure-VI, regarding liability in case of furnishing fake/incorrect information/details in the form.
