ORDER:
In G.O. first read above, certain amendments were issued to the Scheme of Examinations for various services to be conducted by the Commission for
direct recruitment, in which the Annexure-II is for Group-II services as hereunder:

In the letter 2nd read above, the Secretary, APPSC has informed that the syllabus for screening test (150 marks) was framed including entire syllabus of Main Examination in three sections for recruitment notified through 25/2018. Several representations were received from unemployed youth that the syllabus is vast for screening and one has to prepare for the same syllabus twice. Further paper-III is fetching for Economic background candidates, depriving the chances for other streams of graduation.
The Secretary, APPSC has also informed that the Commission has constituted a committee of Honible Members for review of the scheme and The Committee while agreeing with the contentions of the candidates observed that the Science and Technology is not part of the Mains examinations and there is every need to include. Accordingly, the Committee has proposed new scheme and syllabus for Group-II Services and Commission on detail discussion approved the same. As per revised scheme, the Screening Test for 150 marks will have General Studies & Mental Ability only. In the Mains examination the General Studies is excluded and it will comprise of two papers only for 150 marks each, instead of three in existing scheme. The Committee has decided to address the Government for necessary amendment to the scheme and Syllabus for Group-II Services as mentioned below:-

The Secretary, APPSC has, therefore, requested the Government to arrange for necessary amendment to the Scheme and Syllabus for Group-II Services at the earliest possible, so as to enable the Commission to go ahead with issuance of Notification.
Government, after careful examination matter and in modification of the orders issued in Annexure-II of G.O.Ms.No.201, Finance (HR.I-Plg. &Policy) , dated. 21.12.2017, hereby approve the revised scheme of Group-II Services as proposed by APPSC. Accordingly, the following Annexure-II of G.O.Ms.No.201, Finance (HR.I-Plg. &Policy) Dept., dated. 21.12.2017 shall be substituted:

The Secretary, APPSC shall take necessary action in the matter accordingly.
గ్రూపు-2 సిలబస్, పరీక్ష పేపర్లలో మార్పులు చేస్తూ, ప్రభుత్వం ఉత్తర్వులు జారీ చేసింది. ఇకపై స్క్రీనింగ్ టెస్టును 150, మెయిన్ పరీక్షను 300 మార్కులకు నిర్వహించనున్నారు.
గ్రూపు-2 సిలబస్, పరీక్ష పేపర్లలో మార్పులు చేస్తూ ప్రభుత్వం ఉత్తర్వులు జారీచేసింది. ఇకపై స్క్రీనింగ్ టెస్టును 150, మెయిన్ పరీక్షను 300 మార్కులకు నిర్వహించనున్నారు. ఇప్పటివరకు స్క్రీనింగ్ టెస్టును 150, ప్రధాన పరీక్షను మూడు పేపర్లతో నిర్వహించారు. మొత్తం 450 మార్కులు ఉండేవి.
